Who we are

KeyScout is operated by KeyScout, based in Ontario, Canada. We provide keyword research tools for App Store and Google Play developers. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@keyscout.app.

What data we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• —Email address — when you create an account. Used for sign-in and service updates.
• —Saved keywords — keywords you bookmark from search results. Stored so you can access them from your dashboard.
• —Subscription status — whether your account is on the free or Pro plan, managed via our payment provider.
• —Usage data — basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.

How we use your data

• —To provide and operate the KeyScout service
• —To manage your account and subscription
• —To send you important service updates (not marketing, unless you opt in)
• —To improve and develop new features

We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted services to operate KeyScout:

• —Supabase — stores your account data and saved keywords securely.
• —Stripe — processes payments for Pro subscriptions. We do not store your payment card details.
• —Vercel — hosts the KeyScout application.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and saved keywords are permanently deleted within 30 days. Subscription records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• —Access the personal data we hold about you
• —Request correction of inaccurate data
• —Request deletion of your account and data
• —Export your saved keywords at any time from your dashboard
